Co-founder & CEO, Beyonic
Luke Kyohere is the CEO and Founder of Beyonic, a technology company that aims to eliminate the rampant use of cash in emerging markets by enabling easy management of 2-way mobile money payments.
He is a Ugandan technologist and serial entrepreneur with a keen focus on building solutions for emerging markets. He has spent his career designing technology for the non-profit and micro-finance industries and has worked extensively in the international development sector. Prior to leading Beyonic, he worked in the telecommunications industry, as a technology consultant and, more recently, led SaaS and mobile technology expansion efforts in Africa and South America for Grameen Foundation, a leading technology non-profit. Solutions that he worked on are serving emerging communities across East and Central Africa, Indonesia, Colombia and Cote D’Ivoire. He also co-founded BeMobile, a mobile value added services company that was acquired in 2009, and has co-founded two other successful technology companies.
Luke received his B(Sc) Engineering degree from Makerere University in Uganda and his M(Sc) Business degree from the McCombs Business School at the University of Texas at Austin.
